Alex E. Cunny is a trial attorney and complex litigator who has spent his entire career zealously advocating for victims of catastrophic injury and abuse. Since beginning his career in 2013, Alex obtained dozens of seven and eight figure recoveries for his clients, and as part of a larger litigation team, he has helped to secure nine figure recoveries. Alex has been an integral of litigation and liaison counsel teams in representing survivors of sexual abuse cases involving the Catholic Church, USA Gymnastics, Michigan State University, University of Southern California and the University of California Los Angeles. As one of the leading litigators in the field of childhood sexual assault litigation, Alex has effectuated change at a local, state and national level.

In addition to his expertise in litigation, Alex serves as a mediator in personal injury, sexual abuse, harassment and assault cases. Alex is detail oriented. His approach to mediation includes a deep-dive into the case, and he is known for extremely proactive to challenge parties’ positions and effectuate resolution, before, during and even after mediation. Alex has been educated at the Pepperdine University – Caruso School of Law – Straus Institute in cutting edge mediation theory and practice and uses those skills to give parties every chance possible to resolve their case.
